A memory of every thunderstorm

Did a thunderstorm pass through last night? Did lightning really strike near your home? This page archives every flash detected in Belgium and neighbouring countries since summer 2026: choose a date and a country, and find the map of strikes, the exact time of each one, the municipality and even the nearest street, approximately.

It is the ideal tool for checking damage after the event, documenting an insurance claim, or simply reliving a memorable episode: the activity curve shows when the storm started, peaked and faded, in 10-minute steps. And for an official document for your insurer, the weather certificate takes over.
